1. Park another motorcycle or car with a good battery close enough to your Ninja so the jumper cables can reach both batteries.
2. Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on both batteries. The positive terminals are typically marked with a “+” sign, and the negative terminals are typically marked with a “-” sign.
3. Connect one end of the positive jumper cable to the positive terminal on the good battery.
4. Connect the other end of the positive jumper cable to the positive terminal on your Ninja.
5. Connect one end of the negative jumper cable to the negative terminal on the good battery.
6. Connect the other end of the negative jumper cable to a metal surface on your Ninja that is not near the battery or fuel line. This is called the grounding point.
7. Start the running motorcycle or car. Let it run for a few minutes to build up some charge in your Ninja's battery.
8. Try to start your Ninja. If it starts, let it run for a few minutes to recharge the battery.
9. Once your Ninja's battery is recharged, disconnect the jumper cables in the reverse order of how you connected them.
