How do you set timing on a Yamaha moto 4 250cc?

1. Park the vehicle in a level, well-lit area.

2. Put the engine in neutral.

3. Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug.

4. Remove the valve cover.

5. Turn the crankshaft until the piston is at the top of its stroke.

6. Insert a feeler gauge between the cam lobe and the valve stem.

7. Adjust the cam chain tension until the feeler gauge has the correct clearance.

8. Replace the valve cover.

9. Reattach the spark plug wire to the spark plug.

10. Start the engine.
