1. Remove the cam cover.
2. Locate the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft pulleys.
3. The crankshaft pulley has a notch that should align with the "0" mark on the timing belt cover.
4. The camshaft pulley has a dot that should align with the arrow on the cylinder head.
5. If the marks are not aligned, you will need to adjust the timing belt.
6. To do this, loosen the tensioner pulley bolt and turn the tensioner pulley until the marks align.
7. Once the marks are aligned, tighten the tensioner pulley bolt.
8. Replace the cam cover.
