2004 Kia Optima V6 Crank Sensor Location

1. Locate the engine crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley is located at the front of the engine, below the timing belt cover.

2. Follow the crankshaft pulley bolt to the engine block. The crank sensor will be located near the crankshaft pulley bolt.

3. The crank sensor is held in place by two bolts. Remove the two bolts and pull the crank sensor out of the engine block.
