1. In the Drawing Tools tab, click on the Text tool.
2. In the text box, type the text you want to add.
3. Click on the desired location in the drawing to place the text.
4. If you want to format the text, right-click on it and select Properties. In the Properties dialog box, you can change the font, size, color, and other text properties.
Here are some additional tips for adding text in AutoCAD:
* You can rotate text by entering a rotation angle in the Rotation field in the Properties dialog box.
* You can stretch or compress text by entering a stretch factor in the Stretch field in the Properties dialog box.
* You can skew text by entering a skew angle in the Skew field in the Properties dialog box.
* You can mirror text by clicking on the Mirror button in the Properties dialog box.
* You can align text with other objects in the drawing by using the Align tool.
