Keep an eye on your dashboard for any warning lights. Listen for strange rattles or noises coming from the engine or underneath your carriage. Problems when you start up the engine are also a warning sign. Bottom-line – the manufacturer built your vehicle and will know better than anyone else what maintenance is required. Any service adviser who insists on anything else is probably looking to meet his sales target.
