Will a car slide faster slower or easier with bigger tires and heavy car?

Slower

Explanation:

When a car moves on a road, there is a static friction acts on the tires. The formula is F = u N. Here u is the coefficient of static friction and N is the normal reaction. Now a heavy car will have more weight and hence normal reaction (N) will also be large for a heavier car. The product uN will be greater so static friction will be more for a heavy car. Now static friction is the friction which opposes the motion. So as the weight of a car increases it becomes harder for it to slide which means it will slide slower.

On the other hand, bigger tires will have more contact area with the ground. So coefficient of static friction u will also be more for bigger tires. So again static friction will be greater for bigger tires and hence a car will slide slower.

So we conclude that a car with heavy weight and bigger tires will slide slower.
