How do you remove the front seat from a Lincoln town car?

To remove the front seat from a Lincoln Town Car, you will need the following tools:

- Socket wrench set

- Pliers

- Screwdriver

- Allen wrench set

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage from occurring while you are working on the seat.

2. Remove the front console. There are four bolts that hold the console in place. Two are located at the front of the console, and two are located at the rear. Remove the bolts and then lift the console up and out of the way.

3. Remove the lower seat trim. There are four screws that hold the lower seat trim in place. Two are located at the front of the seat trim, and two are located at the rear. Remove the screws and then pry the trim up and off of the seat.

4. Disconnect the seat's electrical connections. There are several electrical connections that connect the seat to the vehicle's wiring harness. Disconnect these connections by pressing on the release tabs and then pulling the connectors apart.

5. Remove the front seat bolts. There are four bolts that hold the front seat in place. Two are located on each side of the seat. Remove the bolts using a socket wrench.

6. Tilt the seat back on one side and rest it onto blocks or something comfortable. There may still be more wiring attached near the back.

7. Remove any attached wiring at the back if the seat before completely removing.

8. Lift the front seat out through the door side.

To reinstall the front seat, simply follow these steps in reverse order.
