4. Proof of insurance. This is required for all commercial vehicles in California. You must carry liability insurance with limits of at least $300,000/$500,000.
5. A business license. This is required for anyone who operates a business in California. You can obtain a business license from the county clerk's office in the county where you will be operating your business.
