The most direct route is via the following:
- From Cagayan de Oro, head west on the Panguil Bay Bridge towards Opol.
- Continue west on the Sayre Highway (N9) through Opol and Manolo Fortich.
- Turn right onto the Bukidnon-Davao Road (N924) towards Maramag.
- Continue south on the Bukidnon-Davao Road through Maramag, Valencia, and Kabacan.
- Turn left onto the Kidapawan-Cotabato Road (N941) towards Kidapawan.
