The law states that if you buy a car from a dealer, you have 3 days to return it for any reason. You can get a full refund of your purchase price, minus any reasonable wear and tear.
To return a car under the Three-Day Right to Return law, you must:
* Bring the car back to the dealer in the same condition as when you bought it.
* Have all of the original paperwork, such as the sales contract and the odometer statement.
* Provide the dealer with a written notice of your intention to return the car.
The dealer must then refund your purchase price within 3 days of receiving the car.
There are a few exceptions to the Three-Day Right to Return law. For example, the law does not apply if you buy a car from a private seller or if you buy a used car that is more than 7 years old.
