In Arizona is there a grace period after signing contract on new car?

In Arizona, there is a 3-day right of rescission period when you purchase anything over $50 via retail installment contract or security agreement, which applies to auto purchases financed by a dealer or through an outside lender.

This does not include purchases made strictly in cash ($50 or more).

During this 3-day period, starting on the day after the contract is signed or merchandise or services are delivered, you can cancel the contract for any reason. You simply need to return the vehicle and provide written notice that you are canceling the contract to the address included in the contract. If you cancel, the dealer can only charge a $50 cancellation fee. They must also return any down payment you made and refund all other fees you paid by midnight on the business day after the dealer gets notice of cancellation.

The dealer should also cancel your motor vehicle purchase contract (purchase money security agreement) and return it to the lender.
