Insert and fasten your seat belt. The warning will stop within 30 seconds (or so). Once the warning is no longer sounding or if you are at a stop, unbuckle your seat belt and remove it from the vehicle. After getting back in the car, fasten the seat belt again and the warning will sound again. Repeat the first two steps one more time. On your third time of buckling the seat belt, it will remain disarmed until the ignition switch is turned off. Your passenger seat belt sensors may still need to be disarmed after performing this procedure. Repeat the process for the passenger side seat belt.
Option 2
Hold down the seat belt buckle into the receiver for about 10 seconds. The vehicle may chime at you once and the warning light may flash. Remove the seat belt buckle from the receiver and then re-insert it. The seat belt warning light should now be disarmed.
