How do you remove the front headrests in an Audi a6?

Step 1: Fold the headrest forward

Pull up on the release lever on the side of the headrest and hold it while pushing the headrest forward until it is in the fully forward position.

Step 2: Press the release button

Press the release button on the bottom of the headrest shaft until you hear a click.

Step 3: Pull up on the headrest

Pull up on the headrest until it comes out of the shaft.

Step 4: Replace the headrest

To replace the headrest, insert the shaft into the hole in the seat and press down until it clicks into place.

Note: You must remove the headrests before removing the front seats.
