1. Open the rear doors.
2. Locate the two plastic covers on the rear seat bottom cushion. They are located on the left and right sides of the cushions, near the front edge.
3. Pry up the plastic covers with your fingers or a flat-head screwdriver.
4. Remove the two bolts underneath the plastic covers. You will need a T40 Torx bit to remove the bolts.
5. Lift up the front edge of the rear seat cushion and pull it towards the front of the car. Remove the cushion from the car.
6. Locate the two bolts that secure the rear seat backrest to the car body. They are located on the left and right sides of the backrest, about halfway down.
7. Remove the two bolts with a T50 Torx bit.
8. Pull the bottom of the backrest towards you and lift it up and out of the car.
To reinstall the rear seat, simply follow these steps in reverse order.
