* Be at least 16 years old
* Have a valid Georgia driver's license or learner's permit
* Pass a vision screening
* Pass a written knowledge test on scooter laws and operation
* Pass a riding skills test on a scooter
You may be exempt from the written knowledge and riding skills tests if you have:
* A valid motorcyclist endorsement on your driver's license from another state
* Completed a motorcycle safety course from a state-approved provider
Carrying the Following Forms with You While Operating a Scooter:
* A valid Georgia driver's license with the appropriate class designation.
* A valid tag and registration receipt.
* Proof of insurance.
* A valid license plate that visibly displays on the scooter.
* Helmet (only if under the age of 21).
* Eye Protection (Required while operating)
