1. Open the hood of your ATV. This can usually be done by pulling up on the hood release lever located near the front of the seat.
2. Locate the battery. The battery is typically located on the right side of your ATV, just behind the air filter box.
3. Remove the battery cover. The battery cover is usually held in place by a few bolts or screws. Remove these bolts or screws and lift off the battery cover.
4. Disconnect the battery terminals. The battery terminals are located on the top of the battery. The negative terminal is marked with a minus sign (-) and the positive terminal is marked with a plus sign (+). Disconnect the negative terminal first and then the positive terminal.
5. Remove the battery. Once the battery terminals are disconnected, you can lift the battery out of the battery compartment.
6. Install the new battery. To install the new battery, simply reverse the steps you took to remove the old battery.
7. Close the hood.
