-It is located on the *left side* of the motorcycle, just below the seat.
Step 2: Remove the seat.
-To remove the seat, there is a seat buckle on the rear-left under the passenger seat. Flip it up and remove the seat by sliding it forward. This will expose the battery and battery holder.
Step 3: Remove the battery from the battery holder.
-Make sure the ignition switch is turned off before removing the battery! Battery connections should never be made or broken with the ignition on.
-Disconnect the negative cable first, then the positive.
-Remove the battery from the holder by lifting it straight up and out.
-Take caution not to drop the battery. It is heavy.
