1. Make sure the ATV is parked on a level surface and that the engine is off.
2. Locate the transmission fluid sight glass. On the Recon 250, it is located on the right side of the engine, just below the cylinder.
3. Clean the sight glass with a clean rag to ensure that you have a clear view of the fluid level.
4. Look at the fluid level in the sight glass. It should be between the "full" and "low" marks on the glass.
5. If the fluid level is low, add Honda GN4-10W30-10W40 or equivalent transmission fluid using a funnel.
