How do you change the battery on a BMW r100rt motorcycle?

To change the battery on a BMW r100rt motorcycle, you will need the following tools:

* A 10mm Allen wrench

* A flathead screwdriver

* A new 12-volt battery (YB16AL-A2)

Instructions

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery using a 10mm Allen wrench.

2. Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery using a 10mm Allen wrench.

3. Remove the battery hold-down bracket using a flathead screwdriver.

4. Lift the battery out of the bike.

5. Place the new battery in the bike.

6. Secure the battery with the battery hold-down bracket.

7. Connect the positive terminal of the battery using a 10mm Allen wrench.

8. Connect the negative terminal of the battery using a 10mm Allen wrench.

Note: When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery terminals, be careful not to touch the terminals with any metal objects, as this could cause a spark and damage the battery or the bike.
