Who and when invented the motor car?
Karl Benz is widely regarded as the inventor of the automobile. In 1885, he designed and built his first automobile, the Motorwagen, in Mannheim, Germany. The Motorwagen was powered by a four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine and was the first practical automobile in history. However, there were also several other inventors and engineers who made significant contributions to the development of the automobile around the same time, including Gottlieb Daimler, Nikolaus Otto, Rudolf Diesel, Siegfried Marcus, and Henry Ford.
