Where is the transmission filter in a 2001 Chrysler Sebring convertible?

The 2001 Chrysler Sebring convertible (assuming the automatic transmission) doesn't have a replaceable transmission filter in the traditional sense like some other vehicles. Instead, the transmission uses a filter *that's integrated into the transmission pan*. When you change the transmission fluid, you remove the pan, replace the filter (which is part of the pan assembly, often just a screen), and reinstall the pan with a new gasket.
