What years of Chevy Suburbans have mechanical fuel injectors not computerized?
Chevrolet Suburbans never used purely mechanical fuel injectors in the way some older cars (like some British or German cars from the 1950s-1970s) did. The fuel injection systems on Suburbans, even in their earliest fuel-injected years, were always electronically controlled to some degree. While the level of sophistication increased over the years, there was never a time when they had a completely mechanical, non-computerized fuel injection system. They used carburetors before moving to electronic fuel injection.
