Where is water pump locate on 2000 Chevy s10?

The water pump on a 2000 Chevy S10 is located at the front of the engine, on the engine block. It's driven by the serpentine belt. To be more precise, it's usually on the passenger side (right side) of the engine, but you should visually check to be certain. Access requires removing the serpentine belt and possibly other components depending on the specific engine (4.3L V6 or 2.2L I4).
