Where is the torque converter on a 2000 Chevy silverado 1500?

The torque converter on a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 is located between the engine and the transmission. You can't see it directly without removing parts, as it's internal to the transmission bellhousing. To access it, you'd need to remove the transmission.
