What was the first car name made by GM?

The first car name made by GM (or rather, by one of its predecessor companies that eventually became GM) was the Oldsmobile. While GM itself wasn't formed until 1908, Ransom Olds' Olds Motor Vehicle Company produced the Oldsmobile starting in 1897.
