Can you take out the front differential and still drive?
No, you cannot safely drive a vehicle with the front differential removed. The front differential is a crucial part of the drivetrain in four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles. It allows the wheels on the front axle to rotate at different speeds when cornering. Without it, you'll be unable to turn the front wheels effectively, and attempting to do so will likely cause severe damage to other components of the drivetrain. Even in front-wheel-drive vehicles, removing the front differential renders the vehicle undriveable.
