For a 1979 F250 400 is the vacuum line on distributor full or advanced off carbuerator?

On a 1979 Ford F250 with a 400 cubic inch engine, the vacuum advance line to the distributor is connected to ported vacuum on the carburetor, not full manifold vacuum. Ported vacuum means it only gets vacuum when the throttle is open. This provides advance only during acceleration and higher engine speeds.
