Where is fuel pump shut off switch 97 suburban?

A 1997 Chevrolet Suburban does not have a readily accessible fuel pump shut-off switch as standard equipment. Unlike some vehicles, there's no easily located button or switch you can flip to immediately cut power to the fuel pump.

To stop fuel flow in an emergency, you'd need to disconnect the fuel pump's electrical connector or, potentially, pull the fuel pump relay (locating the relay will require consulting your owner's manual or a wiring diagram). These are less convenient and require some mechanical knowledge.
