If you're having charging problems, check the alternator's output voltage at the battery with a voltmeter while the engine is running. Low voltage indicates a problem with the alternator. Look for blown fuses related to the ignition system, however, as a faulty ignition system might indirectly affect charging performance. These fuses are usually found in the under-hood fuse box and the interior fuse panel. Consult your owner's manual for the fuse box diagrams to locate these.
