Chevrolet discontinued clutch pedal for 1983 s10 what replaced it?

In 1983, Chevrolet replaced the clutch pedal in the S10 with nothing. The manual transmission option was still available, but the automatic transmission became increasingly popular and more common. There wasn't a direct replacement *part*; the entire manual transmission system was simply less prevalent in the 1983 model year onwards. If a 1983 S10 had an automatic transmission, it would never have had a clutch pedal in the first place.
