Where is a thermostat located on 2003 mustang cobra motor?

The 2003 Mustang Cobra (with the 4.6L supercharged engine) doesn't have a thermostat in the traditional sense located on the engine block like many other vehicles. Instead, the thermostat is integrated into the engine's water pump housing. You won't see a separate housing or easily accessible thermostat like you would on many other cars. To replace it, you'll need to access and remove the water pump.
