Where is the starter on a 1999 Hyundai Elantra?

On a 1999 Hyundai Elantra, the starter motor is located on the bottom of the engine, towards the passenger side (right side in a right-hand drive vehicle). You'll likely need to get underneath the car to see it clearly. It's usually bolted directly to the engine block.
