While a highly modified 1969 Dodge Charger might be able to compete in a drag race over a very short distance, a stock or even moderately modified Porsche 911 (any generation from the early 911s to the current ones) would outperform it in almost every performance metric: 0-60 mph, top speed, acceleration, and handling. The 911's superior aerodynamics, lighter weight (relative to its power), and more advanced engineering give it a clear advantage.
