Where is the speedometer cable on a 1997 Lincoln town car?

The 1997 Lincoln Town Car doesn't use a speedometer cable. It uses an electronic speed sensor (VSS) which is part of the transmission. Therefore, there's no cable to locate. The signal from the VSS is sent electronically to the instrument cluster.
