Instructions:
1. Park your car in a level spot and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the thermostat housing. It is located on the front of the engine, near the top. It is a round, black housing with a single bolt in the center.
4. Use the 3/8 inch ratchet and socket set to remove the bolt that holds the thermostat housing in place.
5. Carefully remove the thermostat housing from the engine. Be careful not to spill any coolant.
6. Remove the old thermostat from the housing.
7. Install the new thermostat into the housing. Make sure that the thermostat is installed correctly so that the spring is facing down.
8. Replace the thermostat housing and bolt. Tighten the bolt until it is snug.
9. Use the funnel to add new coolant to the system. Add coolant until the coolant level reaches the "Full" mark on the coolant reservoir.
10. Close the hood of your car.
11. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. Check for leaks. If there are no leaks, you are finished.
