1.Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need a new light bulb, a flathead screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.
2.Turn off the power to the interior lights. This can be done by turning the light switch to the "off" position. If the light switch does not turn off the lights, you may need to remove the fuse for the interior lights.
3.Locate the interior light fixture that needs to be replaced. The interior light fixtures are located on the ceiling of the car, above the doors, and in the trunk.
4.Use the flathead screwdriver to pry open the cover of the light fixture. The cover is usually held in place by two or three clips.
5.Once the cover is open, you will see the light bulb. Use the pliers to remove the light bulb from the socket. Be careful not to touch the glass of the light bulb, as this can cause it to break.
6.Insert the new light bulb into the socket. Be sure to align the pins on the light bulb with the holes in the socket.
7.Replace the cover of the light fixture. Make sure that the cover is snapped securely into place.
8.Turn on the power to the interior lights. The new light bulb should now be working.
