1. Locate the fuel filter. It is normally mounted in the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle, near the fuel tank.

2. Disconnect the fuel lines. There are usually two lines, one from the fuel tank and one to the fuel injector.

3. Remove the fuel filter.

4. Install a new fuel filter.

5. Re-connect the fuel lines.

6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
