2. Locate the battery, found near the right edge of the engine bay, behind and below the air filter box.
3. Disconnect any battery chargers, tools or aftermarket items connected to the battery.
4. Remove the battery clamp nut with a 13 mm wrench.
5. Disconnect the battery's negative (black) cable first, then the positive (red) cable with the same wrench.
6. Lift out the battery from the engine bay.
