1. Turn off the fuel supply. There is a fuel shut-off valve located on the fuel line near the fuel tank. Turn the valve clockwise to turn off the fuel supply.
2. Remove the fuel lines. There are two fuel lines that connect to the fuel tank: the supply line and the return line. The supply line is the larger of the two lines. To remove a fuel line, use a wrench to loosen the flare nut that connects the line to the fuel tank. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
3. Plug the fuel lines. Use a rubber cap or plug to plug the ends of the fuel lines to prevent fuel from leaking out.
Disconnecting the Amp Vent Line Electric
1. Locate the amp vent line electric. The amp vent line electric is a small, black hose that connects the amplifier to the battery. It is usually located near the amplifier, behind the radio.
2. Disconnect the amp vent line electric. To disconnect the amp vent line electric, simply pull it off of the amplifier and the battery. Be careful not to damage the hose.
3. Reconnect the amp vent line electric. Once you have completed the work on your truck, reconnect the amp vent line electric by pushing it back onto the amplifier and the battery.
