In the state of Texas can you drive a car without license?

In Texas, it is not legal to drive a car without a license. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a driver must have a valid driver's license in order to operate a motor vehicle on public roads in the state. Driving without a license is a traffic violation and can result in a fine, jail time, and/or other penalties. However, there are certain exceptions:

- Individuals with a learner's permit may operate a vehicle under the supervision of a licensed adult.

- Individuals who have a foreign driver's license from their home country may be allowed to drive in Texas for up to 90 days, as long as they have a valid passport and their license is in English or has an official translation.

- Individuals who are in the military and stationed in Texas may be able to drive without a Texas license, as long as they have a valid military driver's license.
