2. Remove the steering wheel. You will need a steering wheel puller to do this.
3. Remove the turn signal switch. This is located on the left side of the steering column.
4. Remove the ignition switch. This is located on the right side of the steering column.
5. Remove the lock cylinder. This is located in the center of the steering column.
6. Remove the locking plate. This is located behind the lock cylinder. You will need a screwdriver and a hammer to remove it.
7. Install the new locking plate. Insert the new locking plate into the steering column.
8. Reinstall the lock cylinder. Insert the lock cylinder into the locking plate.
9. Reinstall the ignition switch.
10. Reinstall the turn signal switch.
11. Reinstall the steering wheel.
12. Reconnect the battery.
