* A new thermostat (OE #25510-39100)
* Coolant (OE #00200-10011 or equivalent)
Here are the instructions for replacing the thermostat in a 2001-2005 Hyundai XG350:
1. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the coolant reservoir cap.
3. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
4. Remove the air filter housing.
5. Remove the thermostat housing cover.
6. Remove the old thermostat.
7. Clean the thermostat housing mating surfaces.
8. Install the new thermostat.
9. Replace the thermostat housing cover.
10. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
