1. Open the hood of your 2003 Nissan Frontier.
2. Locate the battery on the driver's side of the engine bay.
3. Follow the positive battery cable to the starter motor.
4. The starter motor is located on the bottom of the engine, just above the transmission.
5. It is bolted to the engine block with two bolts.
