- Replacement drive belt (check your owner's manual for the correct size)
- 3/8-inch drive ratchet or breaker bar
- 3/8-inch drive extension
- 15mm socket
- 13/16-inch socket
Instructions
1. Open the hood of your Buick Park Avenue.
2. Locate the drive belt. It is located on the front of the engine, near the bottom.
3. Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt. The tensioner pulley is located near the top of the drive belt. Use the 3/8-inch drive ratchet or breaker bar with the 15mm socket to loosen the bolt.
4. Remove the old drive belt. Once the tensioner pulley is loose, you can remove the old drive belt by hand.
5. Install the new drive belt. Start by routing the new drive belt around the pulleys. Make sure that the belt is in the correct position and that it is not twisted.
6. Tighten the tensioner pulley bolt. Once the new drive belt is installed, you can tighten the tensioner pulley bolt. Use the 3/8-inch drive ratchet or breaker bar with the 13/16-inch socket to tighten the bolt.
7. Close the hood of your Buick Park Avenue.
