What do you if the dashboard lights not work in a 1992 Honda Civic?

Here are few things you can check:

1. Check the fuses. There are two fuses that control the dashboard lights in a 1992 Honda Civic. The first is a 10-amp fuse located in the fuse box under the hood, labeled "INSTRUMENT." The second is a 7.5-amp fuse located in the fuse box inside the car, labeled "DOME." If either of these fuses is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.

2. Check the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch controls the brightness of the dashboard lights. If the dimmer switch is turned all the way down, the dashboard lights will not turn on. Try turning the dimmer switch up to see if the dashboard lights come on.

3. Check the light bulbs. If the fuses and dimmer switch are both working properly, the problem may be with the light bulbs themselves. To check the light bulbs, remove the instrument cluster from the dashboard. Once the instrument cluster is removed, you will be able to see the light bulbs. If any of the light bulbs are burned out, replace them with new bulbs.

4. Check the wiring. If the fuses, dimmer switch, and light bulbs are all working properly, the problem may be with the wiring. To check the wiring, you will need to use a multimeter to test for continuity. If there is no continuity between the fuse box and the instrument cluster, the wiring may be damaged and will need to be repaired.

5. Check the Instrument Voltage Regulator. The voltage regulator is responsible for regulating the voltage supplied to the instrument cluster. If the voltage regulator is faulty, it can cause the dashboard lights to not work properly. To check the voltage regulator, you will need to use a multimeter to test the voltage at the instrument cluster. If the voltage is not within the specified range, the voltage regulator may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
