How do you change the spark plugs on a 2003 Kia Sedona?

Tools and materials:

- Socket wrench

- Spark plug socket (deep well)

- Extension bar (optional)

- Ratchet

- Spark plug gap gauge

- New spark plugs (4)

Instructions:

1. Locate the spark plugs. They are located on the top of the engine, on the cylinder heads.

2. Remove the ignition coils. You will need to use a socket wrench to loosen the bolts holding the ignition coils in place. Once the bolts are loose, you can remove the coils by pulling them straight up.

3. Check the spark gap on the new spark plugs. The spark gap should be set to 0.044 inches. You can use a spark plug gap gauge to measure the gap. If the gap is too wide or too narrow, you can adjust it by carefully bending the electrode on the spark plug.

4. Screw the new spark plugs into the cylinder head. Hand-tighten the spark plugs first, and then use the socket wrench to tighten them until they are snug. Do not overtighten the spark plugs, as this can damage the threads.

5. Replace the ignition coils. Reinstall the ignition coils and push them into place. Tighten the bolts that hold the coils in place.

6. Start the engine and check for misfires. If you experience any misfires, you may need to adjust the spark plug gap again.
