2. Pull the hood release lever. This will release the hood latch.
3. Go to the front of the vehicle and lift up the hood. Be careful not to let it drop.
4. Locate the hood latch. It is located on the underside of the hood, in the center.
5. Push down on the hood latch. This will release the hood.
6. Lift up the hood and prop it open.
Note: If the hood cable is broken, you may need to use a screwdriver or other object to pry the hood latch open. Be careful not to damage the paint on your vehicle.
