1. Locate the aerial base. It is usually located on the roof of the car, near the rear.
2. Unscrew the aerial base counterclockwise until it is completely removed.
3. Pull the aerial out of the base.
4. Place the aerial in a safe place, such as the glove compartment.
5. Proceed to the car wash.
6. After the car wash is complete, reinstall the aerial by following the steps in reverse order.
