How do you install the side front fender on 1999 Plymouth Breeze?

Tools and Materials Required:

- Phillips Head Screwdriver

- Flat Head Screwdriver

- 10mm Socket

- Ratchet

- Fender Well Liner

- Plastic Rivets

- Fender

Instructions:

Step 1: Remove the Front Wheel

- Use a 10mm socket to loosen and remove the lug nuts on the front wheel.

- Once loosened, use your hands to pull the wheel hub off the wheel studs.

- Set aside the wheel and prepare to uninstall the Fender Well Liner.

Step 2: Remove Fender Liner

- To take out the fender well liner, begin by removing the screws with a Philips Head Screwdriver.

- Take out the plastic screws by applying a flathead screwdriver.

- Once taken out, set them aside.

Step 3: Remove the Old Fender

- There are some bolts you should take off to remove the fender.

- To remove the bolts, use the 10mm socket and disconnect them.

- The bolts are found beneath the vehicle and along its inner side towards the door.

- Once removed, gently pull the fender forward to remove it.

- It is okay if the wheel well liner is removed first, as it can always be reinstalled.

Step 4: Install Fender Mudguard

- Put the fender's liner into place.

- Place the fender mudguard so it covers the wheel and install it.

- Check that the fender mudguard is correctly positioned.

- Secure it to the vehicle by pushing the plastic rivets through the corresponding holes in the fender and wheel well.

Step 5: Reattach the Fender

- Put the fender in its place.

- Ensure the fender is perfectly positioned.

- Screw in the bolts that you removed earlier to fix the fender in its rightful position.

Step 6: Reinstall Wheel and Fender Liner

- Put the wheel back onto the hub of the wheel.

- Tighten the lug nuts of the wheel. Make sure they are screwed up tightly in a crisscross pattern.

- Put the remaining fender well screws and rivets back in place.

Note:

- Before placing the fender, ensure all rust and debris are removed.

- After everything has been reattached, take a step back and view the work critically. Is the fender sitting correctly? Are there any gaps? Is everything secure?
